What is truSculpt® iD?

Using radiofrequency (RF) energy, truSculpt® iD removes up to 24% of fat cells within one treatment. Because truSculpt® iD works without any invasive treatments, you will not experience the discomfort or recovery time that accompanies more invasive methods. This treatment works best for body contouring, and you should not expect it to work for weight loss. 

How Does truSculpt® iD Work?

The truSculpt® iD radiofrequency energy penetrates through the skin without causing any harm. It reaches the dermis and underlying layers of fat cells. When it reaches the fat cells, the radiofrequency converts to heat. This process, called lipolysis, breaks up the fat cells. The body will remove these damaged cells over the next few months. While some people see full results from one treatment, many people benefit from several treatment sessions to get the best possible body contouring.

What is truSculpt® iD Treatment Like?

The truSculpt® iD device has several handpieces to target different areas of the body. The handpiece moves over the treatment area, sending out radiofrequency energy. You may feel this as heat in or under the skin, but most people describe this as painless and comfortable. 

How Much Does truSculpt® iD Cost?

The cost for truSculpt® iD varies widely from region to region and among different providers. Prices can range from $300 to $1500. What Results Will I See From truSculpt® iD?

You will see a reduction in fat as well as a reduction in the circumference of areas like the flanks and abdomen. This means that you will see effective slimming and contouring that actually shrinks the treated areas. The radiofrequency energy will stimulate cells to produce collagen, which will help the skin tighten up in the area of fat removal. 

You will see results in about eight to twelve weeks as the body removes the damaged fat cells and the skin over the treated area tightens. Fat cells that have been removed will not return. However, keeping your healthy lifestyle will help maintain your results.
