Do I Need Botox® or Dermal Fillers?
You may wonder whether you need dermal fillers or a different kind of wrinkle-smoothing treatment. Unlike dermal fillers, Botox® treats lines and wrinkles caused by muscle movement. These include expression lines such as forehead and brow creases. Dermal fillers work better for lines and wrinkles caused by skin laxity and loss of facial volume. Some people benefit from having Botox® and dermal fillers to address different concerns.Is There Any Downtime With Dermal Fillers?
You can have Juvederm® injections on your lunch break and return to work immediately. Dermal fillers require no downtime, although you should avoid exercise for 24 hours. You might see some minor bruising or swelling in the area of the injections, but this will fade within a few days.This visit was a pleasure!
