Sagging Chin – Necklift Procedure – Philadelphia

Published on September 5, 2014

Aging can have a particularly exaggerated effect on the appearance of your neck and chin. For some people, aging skin has created the appearance of a sagging chin. Despite being in good shape and relatively healthy, it can give the appearance of a double chin. With a limited incision necklift, you can rejuvenate your appearance and tighten the look of your jawline.

A sagging chin is typically the result of the skin’s loss of elasticity over time. This loss of elasticity may be due to the natural aging process, but it may also have been made worse by sun exposure, weight fluctuations and heredity.

The necklift is a surgical procedure where incisions are made around the earlobe in order to lift and tighten underlying neck muscles and tissue. The procedure may also involve liposuction of fatty deposits for an even greater slimming effect.

This visit was a pleasure! Dr. Brenman thoroughly explained my options and did seem rushed. He answered all my questions and made me comfortable with making my decision. Gina was friendly and helpful in facilitating scheduling etc. I feel confident in my choice.
