Philadelphia Liposuction

Philadelphia Liposuction

Published on May 13, 2013

Liposuction is a procedure which uses a long, skinny tube that goes in through tiny incisions to suck out fat in the trouble area. Although liposuction will reduce weight and fat in the area treated, it is not a weight loss solution, rather it is a form of body contouring to achieve a better body contour by removing stubborn fatty cells from a specific area of the body.

All of us are predestined to gain and hold on to weight in specific areas of our bodies. Many of us may gain and hold on to weight in our thighs, while others gain and hold onto weight in their abdomen. Whether it’s the abdomen, thighs, backside, or arms, it is these localized areas of fat that are best treated with liposuction. These areas may be resistant to diet and exercise and liposuction may be the only way to achieve the kind of results you seek- though a healthy diet and exercise are always recommended for optimal health and to maintain the results of liposuction.

To learn more about Liposuction and to find out if you are a good candidate for the procedure, schedule your personal consultation with Board-Certified Philadelphia Plastic Surgeon Dr. Scott Brenman.
