How Much Does truSculpt® Cost?

Even with a healthy lifestyle, many people still have areas of fat that no amount of effort seems to get rid of. At The Pennsylvania Centre for Plastic Surgery, we use the truSculpt® iD system, a safe, effective method of body sculpting that removes fat.

How Does truSculpt® Work? The truSculpt® iD system works by using radiofrequency (RF) energy that causes no damage to the skin. It transfers energy in the form of heat to fat cells in the treated area, disrupting them and causing them to break down. Over time, the body will filter away these broken fat cells, leaving you with a more contoured figure.  RF energy also works to stimulate collagen production. Treating the area with this kind of energy removes fat and causes the skin to produce more collagen. This helps tighten and firm the skin, so you see not just fat reduction but firming and contouring as well. New collagen development can last for years, providing long-term skin benefits.

How Much Does truSculpt® Cost?

According to Byrdie, truSculpt® iD costs on average between $300 and $1800 per session. The wide range of costs reflects the differences in various areas, the experience of the practitioner, and other factors. Scheduling a consultation at The Pennsylvania Centre for Plastic Surgery will provide you with the most accurate information about your expected costs.

What are the Benefits of truSculpt®?

truSculpt® iD offers benefits beyond just fat removal. This fast, comfortable treatment provides excellent results without the drawbacks of some other body sculpting methods.

No Downtime

You can return to your regular routine after treatment. You may feel some warmth and redness in the treated area, but this will usually go away within about 48 hours.

No Discomfort

The treatment has been described as feeling like a hot stone massage. You will feel warmth, but the skin feels no discomfort since the RF energy does not target the skin.

Noticeable Results

The truSculpt® iD system can reduce as much as 24% of fat from the treated area, enhancing contours and smoothing out areas of excess fat.

Skin Tightening

Other methods of body sculpting do not give the extra skin-firming and tightening that RF energy creates by triggering the production of collagen in the skin.

Six Applicators to Treat Multiple Areas

With six applicators, the truSculpt® iD system can treat more than one area of concern at a time, making treatment faster and more efficient.

Am I a Good Candidate for truSculpt®?

The ideal truSculpt® iD candidate is within about 20 to 30 pounds of their desired weight and seeks a method of removing stubborn fat that doesn’t respond to weight management. Pregnant women and people with certain health problems may not make good candidates, but you can discuss this during your consultation. “After losing 87 pounds I decided I would treat myself and get a tummy tuck that I have been wanting for some time. I researched and thought Dr Scot Brenman would be best. Well suffice it to say I am not thrilled with my results. Ultimately my tummy is flatter which was what I wanted but my belly button is 2 inches above the incision line which I hate! He promised lipo which til this day I’m betting he didn’t do! Also his aftercare was thee WORSE! He never followed up with me after the removal of my drains! No way will he receive another one of my hard earned dimes!” *
This visit was a pleasure! Dr. Brenman thoroughly explained my options and did seem rushed. He answered all my questions and made me comfortable with making my decision. Gina was friendly and helpful in facilitating scheduling etc. I feel confident in my choice.
