How Much Does Breast Augmentation Cost?

Are you wanting to increase the size of your breasts, but wondering at what price?
The price of a breast augmentation can depend on implant type. Dr. Brenman will guide you on the best implant type based on your needs, while not forgetting your budgetary needs as well.
Many women choose to have their breasts enlarged in order to satisfy their own desire for a fuller bust line. Your breasts may not have developed to the size that meets your expectations or one breast may be significantly smaller than the other. You may have been happy with your breasts in the past but feel they look different now. Often, after weight loss, childbirth, or as a result of aging, the breasts lose volume and their shape changes.

Candidates for Breast Augmentation

If you wonder if you are a good candidate for breast augmentation there are many conditions which may indicate that you are. Most commonly, if you are bothered by the feeling that your breasts are too small or that clothing fits well around your hips but is often too large in the bust line this procedure may be appropriate for you. You may feel self-conscious wearing a swimsuit, a form fitted top, or feel that your breasts have become smaller and lost their firmness after having children. Weight loss often changes the size and shape of the breast and asymmetries may become more apparent. All breast augmentation candidates should be healthy non-smokers with realistic expectations for their procedure.

What is Breast Augmentation Surgery Like?

The breast augmentation procedure is straightforward; however, your incisions may be made at different places, depending on your specific treatment. In general, you can expect incisions to be made around the nipples, underneath the breast, and/or in the armpit region (endoscopic breast augmentation). Once the incisions have been made, Dr. Brenman will place the predetermined implants underneath the chest muscle and, if necessary, reposition the nipple to accommodate the new breast size. The procedure ends when the incisions are closed with absorbable surgical sutures under the skin.   This visit was a pleasure! Dr. Brenman thoroughly explained my options and did seem rushed.
