How Much Does Botox Cost?

Are you interested in trying out Botox for yourself, but not sure how much your Botox treatments might cost? We understand. After all, while you don’t want to get a budget Botox injection (you value your results!), you do want to better understand how much you should budget for your Botox injections. That’s why we’re about to take a closer look at how much Botox costs, including how many treatments you may need each year to maintain your fabulous results. Botox Plymouth Meeting

Botox Costs: Breaking It Down by Unit

Botox is priced by unit, meaning the final cost of your Botox treatment is determined by how many Botox units are needed to achieve your desired results. A single unit of Botox is priced at about $14/unit. Botox unit requirements can range based on your aging symptoms, how well your skin responds to treatments, and your desired results. For example, if you’re using Botox as a preventative measure on light frown lines, you may only need 20 units of Botox, meaning your treatment would be about $280 ($14 per unit x 20 units). If you’re treating more moderate forehead wrinkles or crow’s feet, you may need up to 60 units of Botox, meaning your treatment would come in at $840 ($20 per unit x 60 units). Using this basic math can give you a better sense of where you’ll be at when it’s time to price out your Botox injections.

How Many Botox Treatments Will I Need Each Year?

If you’re looking for a yearly breakdown of how much Botox costs, consider this: most Botox results last between three to four months. That means you may need to get up to four injections per year to maintain your results.

Is Now the Right Time to Have Botox Done?

Botox can be used by both men and women of any age (provided they’re over 21) and for different reasons. For example, younger patients may want to use conservative Botox injections to prevent wrinkles, while older patients may want to use Botox to minimize the appearance of frown lines and crows feet lines.
