How Can I Treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED)?

Most men will deal with erectile dysfunction (ED) at some point in their lives. When it becomes an ongoing problem, it can have significant effects on intimate relationships, self-esteem, and even mental health. Fortunately, ED responds well to treatment with the Alma Duo™, allowing men to regain long-lasting relief from ED.

How Can I Treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED)?

Men have many options for ED treatment in the form of medications. However, all of these have side effects and drawbacks. For men who want ED relief that doesn’t require taking pills, the Alma Duo™ provides a treatment that you can enjoy for years into the future.

How Does the Alma Duo™ Work? The Alma Duo™ uses a technology called low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy (LI-EWST). Shock wave therapy began as a noninvasive treatment using shock waves to travel through the tissue and break up kidney stones. Painless and harmless to normal tissues, this technology has remained in use for over 50 years.  The treatment has matured to use low-intensity shock waves that cause mechanical stress to the treated tissues. This results in a flood of healing factors, which over time will stimulate an increase in blood flow to the area. The reaction induced by the mechanical stress tells the body that the area needs more blood flow and can trigger new blood vessels to develop.

What Results Will I See with Erectile Dysfunction Treatment?

Most people need a series of six treatments to see the best possible results. The manufacturer recommends two treatments per week for three weeks, but Dr. Brenman will develop a plan that meets your individual needs. Results should begin to appear after a week or two but will reach their maximum level after your final treatment. Most men notice an improvement in their ED, developing and maintaining erections more normally. This can result in a tremendous confidence boost, and for some men makes them feel like they can feel more free and spontaneous in their relationships. Results last on average about two years.

Am I a Good Candidate for Erectile Dysfunction Treatment?

Men who want to treat their ED with a noninvasive, medication-free method make good candidates for the Alma Duo™. Men whose ED problems stem from blood flow issues make the best candidates, although men with other physical causes for their ED will also see benefits.

Is There Any Downtime With the Alma Duo™?

The treatment causes no discomfort and requires no downtime. Treatment takes only about 15 minutes, and you can return to your normal activities immediately afterward. The short treatment time with no downtime later makes this a good treatment for even the busiest men.
This visit was a pleasure! Dr. Brenman thoroughly explained my options and did seem rushed. He answered all my questions and made me comfortable with making my decision. Gina was friendly and helpful in facilitating scheduling etc. I feel confident in my choice.
