What Types of Eyebrow Lift Exist?

Did you know there’s more than one kind of eyebrow lift? That’s right: your eyebrow lift can be customized depending on the goals you want to achieve with your procedure. From lifts that promise faster healing times to ones that can treat both wrinkles and eyebrow sagging, here’s how to tell which kind of eyebrow lift is right for you.

Types of Eyebrow Lift

At The Pennsylvania Centre for Plastic Surgery, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Scott A. Brenman is pleased to two types of eyebrow lifts, including:
  • Endoscopic Eyebrow Lift: This type of eyebrow lift is performed in such a way as to place the surgical incisions within the hairline. Placing the incisions here helps to hide post-surgical scarring, so you can return to work faster. Dr. Brenman can use these incisions to access key eyebrow and forehead muscles, thus helping to reposition and tighten the upper facial area.
  • Direct Eyebrow Lift: This eyebrow lift requires incisions directly above the eyebrow or within the folds of the upper eyelid. This type of lift allows Dr. Brenman better access to the eyebrow and forehead muscles, but incisions can be slightly more visible than with an endoscopic eyebrow lift.
Dr. Brenman will work with you to determine which type of eyebrow lift may produce your ideal results.

How Much Does an Eyebrow Lift Cost?

The cost of your eyebrow lift will depend on the type of treatment you choose. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons indicates that the average cost of an eyebrow lift was $3,623 in 2018, which doesn’t include costs associated with surgical centers and prescription medications. The best way to find out how much your eyebrow lift costs is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Brenman to discuss your ideal outcome.   This visit was a pleasure! Dr. Brenman thoroughly explained my options and did seem rushed. He answered all my questions and made me comfortable with making my decision. Gina was friendly and helpful in facilitating scheduling etc. I feel confident in my choice.
